NRL News Ticker TEAM NEWSMets, SINNERS show strong performances at Bristol As II SNOOKI II and Scoutchuck missed the race due to plans, Mets and SINNERS were all MeCM needed to get a top-5/10 out of Thunder Valley. The race had all sorts of beatin and bangin, which did cost Mets and SINNERS some laps during the middle part of the race. But, when cautions came out rapid during the end of the race, Mets and SINNERS were able to get their laps back and both finish in the top-10. Mets had this to say about the race: "Holy Crap, i've never seen so much beatin and bangin outta Track A before. But, we were lucky enough to have all those cautions at the end, which definitely sealed us atleast a top-10 in the finishing order. I saw SINNERS leading for a bit, and it actually made me feel great. I think he is a great driver, and hopefully, we will be racing together in the Chase for the Nuff Sprint Cup Championship". Site Was Down I was just notified by Yola that the site was down due to malicious hacking. If you guys were on this while it happened (Which is not likely no offense) then i apologize. It wasn't to do with me, it was Yola. Thanks for understanding! Mets Only MeCM Driver In Top-10; Rest of MeCM Struggles at Michigan Make Em Cry Motorsports headed into Michigan International Speedway with their heads held high looking for a top-10 finish to raise their chase chances. But, the team did struggle. SINNERS and Shoot DC'ed. Scout had some bad luck during the race as well. With just three races to go till the Chase, the team needs to just focus on the race, get acouple more top-10's and they can rest easy. Mets was the only MeCM driver to have a top-10. Mets is continuing to solidify his status as the NRL's top rookie this season. Mets dominated Track B at Michigan, leading more than half the race. But with pit stratgey and a caution by CIVIC BOY, Mets felt it was his race. Mets had this to say on the team. "We kindof had a bad week this week. We need to step up the next 2-3 weeks if we as a team want to make the chase. I don't have to worry about it because basically im pretty much locked in but for the rest of the guys, i'll make sure we get them a top-10 finishing race car. Mets to Expand to NUFF NBA Last week, MeCM team owner Metsrule2000 announced his future plans. Even though those plans did not include ARCA/IRacing, Mets will remain in Nuff as a member of the Nuff NBA league when the first season in NBA 2K11 kicks off late/early 2010/11. "Right now, i will be getting NBA 2K11, but i am currently on hold at the moment. Its official though. I am hoping to get a team before the season starts, but if not, then we will be on hold until a team is available. I am looking forward to joining another functioning Nuff league, and an enjoyable one". Check the NUFF NBA page real soon for details on the team, etc. Mets, Scout and SINNERS Have Good Day at The Glen; Make Em Cry's Chase Chances are Great The last several weeks have been great weeks for Mets and Team Make Em Cry. Indy was a top-15 finish, a 3rd place finish at Pocono, Met's personal best finish, and an average finish for Mets and crew at the Glen. Bitten Buns also got the pole at the Glen. So whats are the chances that Make Em Cry will have 75% of its drivers make the NRL Chase for the Sprint Cup. Team owner Metsrule had this to say. "This team has been a great group of guys. We've worked together, and are on the same page week after week. Its great. I think these guys deserve chase spots, but we just need to keep focused on the chase, and then once its said and done, we will take a deep breather and relax". Site Updates Apologies for not updating the site in over three weeks fellas. Everything you need to know from the past several weeks is in the NRL Ticker. Thanks! BBBS Motorsports, MeCM Reach Agreement On Alliance According to Sources from both the MeCM and BBBS camps, the two teams have reached an formal agreement to become alliance teams. "This is going to be a great alliance". Mets said. "I think that Pee Wee's chase spot will be safe with the type of package we will give him week in and week out". BBBS Motorsports team owner Josh Biddle has not publicly commented on the agreement. According to Mets via text message, the details of the agreement are that the alliance is going to be for the rest of the 2010 NRL Season. Setups can be giving to each team, but MeCM will supply the package that BBBS Motorsports will choose whether or not to run them. Bitten Buns, Mets have solid Top-10 Finishes at Chicagoland Chicagoland was once again another racetrack where MeCM would be fast at. Bitten Buns once again got the pole, which seems to break a record for most consecutive poles in one year. Mets needed to bounce back after a tough 17th overall finish. Both Bitten Buns, and Mets were able to finish in the top-10, as the results changed after the lap grace wasn't given for both Tracks A & B. "Overall, a great run by Bitten and Myself." Mets said after the race. "Indy will be a track where you can mess up corners, and cost you the race. So consistency will be key at Indy". Mets and the MeCM Gang head to Indy (You guessed it) next week after an off-week this week.
Makes Em Cry, BBBS Motorsports Alliance Test "Going Well" according to Mets Last night was the first test as to whether or not MeCM and BBBS Motorsports could both take a step in the right direction as the FNTS headed to Montreal, a road course team owner Metsrule200 says is his 2nd favorite track. "This track has been great! This track is my 2nd best track in the game. Its tricky, and fun at the same time." Mets supplied BBBS Motorsports the setup that gave BBBS driver TautestAndrew a third place finish. "I was glad to see Andrew have such a great race. He could've won the race. Although he had a problem with DuceyDuceyDu, he still had a great race. Overall, the alliance is going well. I haven't heard anything about a long-term agreement, but it could definitely be a possibility. " |
